Our mission
A language is learned in class, but it comes alive with the people who grew up speaking it.
Every week, Furamori brings people from different cultures together around small tables of 4 to 8, in cafés. People practise a language with native speakers, discover another culture, and leave with new friends. We started with French and Japanese, and we are gradually opening up to other languages.
We work with schools, associations, residences, shops and other organisations that share one idea: meeting other cultures is how we learn, and how we find our place.

Students, expats, travellers: many arrive in a city where they know no one. At our meetups, they make friends and meet local people, in a relaxed setting.

Several time slots every week: you offer your community something regular, without taking up your team's time.

The people at our meetups are discovering a city, a language or a culture, and many are looking for a class, a place or a service. As a partner, you are visible to them.

The people you support rarely get the chance to talk with native speakers. We welcome both sides of every language: two organisations, each on one side of the same language (French and Japanese, for example), bring each other the native speakers the other one needs.
Every partnership is different.
Your community tries it for free and sees for itself whether it is a good fit.
An evening designed with you, around your community.
If you recommend Furamori to your community, we pay you a commission for every person who subscribes through you.
